Pointe founder Yvette Clark brings a wealth of experience
to her role as leader of the En Pointe team. Yvette developed
her visual communication skills through hands on experience,
having been apprenticed from the early age of 16, and has
consistently worked since then to create innovative visual
work for clients in entertainment and commerce. Recently,
she served as Marketing Director for the prestigious Quincy
Jones' Lisen Up Foundation's We Are the Future Concert held
in Rome, Italy in May, 2004. A star-studded event that included
Oprah Winfrey, Angelina Jolie, Santana, Naomi Campbell, Josh
Groban and many others, the concert was broadcast worldwide
on MTV, Yahoo! and XM Radio. Attended by over 750,000 people,
the record-setting event served as the springboard for a new
world organization to benefit children in war-torn countries.
In
recent years she served as the Creative Director, and eventually
Executive Creative Director at CarsDirect.com. In this role
she designed the original specification for the CarsDirect.com
website and worked with top leaders there to create a brand
identity for the phenomenally successful online startup. Since
then, the CarsDirect.com website has won numerous awards including
Forbes Favorite, #1 from Gomez Advisors, and MVP from PC Magazine.
As
Creative Director at En Pointe Yvette designed 70% of Warner
Home Videos DVD European Launch, and 30% of the American
campaign. She has worked on over 30 political campaigns including
victories for Senator Paul Wellstone and Caroline McCarthy.
Yvette
has worked closely with entrepreneurial teams and facilitated
the development and growth of several small companies from
the ground up. Including; Lickerish, Smarty Pants Web Design,
Project Flint which later became BTOAuto.com, Dental Advantage,
Gartner Graphics, Grandpa Gs, Symphony In Movement,
Vantage Magazine and Aviation Audio Visual Library which was
eventually acquired by DoubleDay. Additionally Yvette has
done extensive and award-winning work in the Theater Arts,
having worked on over 40 theatrical productions. Her production
design efforts helped garner the prestigious Lumiere Award
for the film "First Daughter" and she was awarded
the Most Promising Newcomer award by Women In Theatre.

GARETH
SMITH

Gareth
Smith is a specialist in motion graphics and graphic design.
Over the past several years, both as an award winning student
in the Design department at UCLA and as a freelance designer
and motion artist he has consistently produced innovative
and high-profile projects. In January of 2000 "This Guy
Is Falling," Gareths short film directorial debut,
was selected as an official Sundance Film Festival selection.
Currently he is Senior Designer of print media at En Pointe
Studios.
DAMON
SEELEY

In
the pursuit of understanding and exploring the nexus of technology,
commerce and the arts, Damon Seeley has fulfilled roles as
a print and web designer, technology director/facilitator
and team leader for design and media-arts projects. Currently
Damon is Senior Designer of interactive media at En Pointe
Studios. As a lead world designer and project leader for Professor
Rebecca Allens Emergence project at UCLA Damon was responsible
for character design and programming as well as overall art
direction. During two terms of consultancy for Disney Feature
Animation Damon implemented a number of technology solutions
to the animation development process, including visualization
workstations and color management. At UCLA as a student in
the Design Department he undertook and directed several experimental
web projects. Additionally, Damon works as a motion graphics
artist in Los Angeles.
